Tired of weekly check ins and just talking? Trauma therapy can help you actually get to what's behind the symptoms.

Trauma doesn’t resolve through insight alone. It lives in the quiet patterns of your nervous system, requiring deeper processing to truly release. That’s not a failure, it means something deeper hasn’t been processed yet.

Hi, my name is Alyssa and I have spent my career helping women just like you make meaningful change. I have a passion for helping people heal. I have seen EMDR do some amazing things for the people I have worked with. I am licensed in Idaho, Washington, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

I am a driven mom of two boys who is also on a healing journey and actively breaking generational cycles. I love reading a good book, chocolate, and being on the water (current favorite is paddleboarding on the lake).

I would love to meet you!

When capability hides the overwhelm

You look capable. To the outside world, you are the one who has it all together, the therapist, the leader, the high-achiever. And yet, behind that mask, something still feels stuck. You find yourself second-guessing every decision, feeling perpetually overwhelmed despite your successes, and tired of repeating the same painful patterns that insight alone hasn’t been able to break.

My Approach

I don’t believe insight alone creates change.

Many of the clients I work with have spent years in therapy. They understand their patterns, can name their triggers, and have done a lot of meaningful work.

And yet, something still feels stuck.

That’s not a failure. It’s often a sign that the work hasn’t reached the level where the trauma is actually stored.

Trauma isn’t just something you think about, it’s something your nervous system holds onto.

Which means it doesn’t resolve through talking or understanding alone.

My approach focuses on helping you process what’s underneath the patterns, not just manage them.

This is deeper work. It’s intentional, structured, and grounded in trauma-specific therapy. Not just being “trauma-informed.”

There isn’t a finish line where everything is suddenly resolved. But there is the ability to feel more regulated, more clear, and more like yourself as the work deepens.

For the Clinician who holds it all

You are a skilled clinician, yet you feel stuck despite your years of training. There is an immense, silent pressure to have it all together because you are the one who helps others. It is okay to be the one who needs the deeper processing now. That is not a failure. It means something deeper hasn’t been processed yet.

Moving Toward Integration

After working with me clients tend to report experiencing:

Lighter

Regulated

A nervous system that can find its way back to center.
